Lighting plays an important part in the overall aesthetic of a Rammed Earth home. Our client’s choices here yield some fantastic lighting results. The natural timber ceiling really showcases the amazing pairing with Rammed Earth. Designed by Clifton, this 2,750-square-foot home features high-end finishings and appliances, blond wide-plank maple floors and stair treads, red pine tongue-and-groove panelling on the ceiling, and bold rustic Douglas fir beams.
The interior design creates both bright and comfortable as well as a warm and intimate spaces under natural light and different seasons. The addition of natural pigments to the Rammed Earth mixture creates the beautiful colours. Here, an earthy clay tone was selected for most walls, a feature wall in the living room is a deep eggplant.
