Student Project: Dazzling DIY is a Family Legacy

Paul and his family decided to do it themselves after taking our Rammed Earth Course; and what an amazing journey it has been for them. They started building the walls of their home in 2014 and are just finishing up now in 2022. You can do that with rammed earth, even in the frigid northern climes of Saskatchewan Canada. That kind of homesteading is not for everyone, but when it is – wow!

I popped in a couple of times over the years and loved everything about their enthusiam and ingenuity. From the Rammed Earth with thatched roof goatshed to the home built backhoe and cement mixer, their build is inspiring!

You can see the whole project right from the start on their blog at http://skrammedearth.blogspot.com/
