The workshop build was for a one-level single family house of about 1500 square feet in size. Roughly half of the rammed earth walls were built when we got there, which turned out to be perfect. We got to see pretty much everything live after the footing stage of the process: sourcing materials, mixing materials, creating test batches, building and moving forms, bracing forms, tint batches, pneumatic ramming, hand tamping, and puddle caps.

There was a great mix of sizes for the walls including some pretty difficult corner walls, which was a treat.

 All in all, Max, and the crew were incredibly patient and helpful. They always stopped for as long as we needed to explain something we did not quite understand or something we had questions about.

 The workbook was a fantastic compendium to the workshop. It has all the basics right in there, which is great now that I am back home and planning my own projects.

 Before, during, and after the workshop, Clifton has been very responsive and helpful. He is always open to an email or phone call. So is Max.

 I could not recommend this workshop more if you want to build anything out of rammed earth. These guys are pros and it shows. If you are going to learn, you might as well learn from the best, and that is what these guys are.

 It was worth every penny. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
