Colourful Infill on Small Lot

We were contracted to provide the colour sampling and material testing for a Saskatoon Architect’s personal family home. This project pops a lot of colours and a long curved wall. Because of the amount of colour many samples were created ( over 100 if memory serves) for the client to choose from. The height of the walls and the lot size presented some interesting challenges. The normal eave overhangs were not mpossible on such a narrow lot so the owner opted to cap the walls in Metal. When using this option n cold or rainy climates it is vital to protect against moisture.

The walls were rammed by Clifton Schooley protege and colleague Stuart Schindel of Rammed Earth Artisan Limited in Saskatoon.
